Abses dapat terjadi dimana saja pada bagian tubuh kita. Salah satu penyebab yang paling sering ditemukan pada proses radang infeksi microbial. Tujuan: Penulisan Karya Ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk melakukan asuhan keperawatan medikal bedah pemberian aromaterapi lavender pada pasien masalah keperawatan nyeri akut dengan diagnosa medis abses gluteus Desain: menggunakan studi penelaahan kasus dengan metode pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara anamnesa, pemeriksaan fisik, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Subjek laporan kasus ini menggunakan satu responden. Hasil: implementasi pemberian aromaterapi lavender pada pasien nyeri akut didapatkan hasil bahwa adanya perubahan dari yang awalnya nyeri skala 5 (0-10) menjadi skala 3(0-10). Kesimpulan: penelitian ini menunjukan adanya penurunan skala nyeri sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan tindakan aromaterapi lavender pada Tn.A dengan masalah keperawatan nyeri akut di ruang Anggrek B RSUD Kota Bandung Kata Kunci : terapi nyeri, aromaterapi, lavender Kepustakaan : 17 literature (2012-2023)

Abscesses can occur anywhere on the body. One of the most common causes of inflammatory processes is microbial infection. Purpose: Writing this scientific work aims to conduct medical surgical nursing care by administering lavender aromatherapy to patients with acute pain nursing problems with medical diagnoses of gluteus abscess Design: using case study studies with data collection methods carried out by means of anamnesis, physical examination, direct observation, and documentation . The subject of this case report uses one respondent. Results: the implementation of giving lavender aromatherapy to acute pain patients showed that there was a change from initially pain on a scale of 5 (0-10) to a scale of 3 (0-10).
