PERBANDINGAN EFISIENSI WAKTU PEMERIKSAAN ANTARA METODE COVER TEST DAN HIRSCHBERG TEST PADA KASUS MPD (MONOCULAR POPULLARY DISTANCE) YANG BERBEDA

Mata merupakan salah satu indera yang penting bagi manusia, melalui mata manusia menyerap informasi visual yang digunakan untuk melaksanakan berbagai kegiatan. Namun gangguan terhadap penglihatan banyak terjadi, mulai dari gangguan ringan hingga gangguan berat yang dapat mengakibatkan kebutaan.. Pemeriksaan uji deviasi merupakan salah satu tahapan dalam pemeriksaan mata. Ada beberapa macam metode dalam pemeriksaan uji deviasi, dua diantaranya adalah hirschberg test dan cover test. Sebagai tenaga kesehatan mata termasuk seorang refraksionis optisien perlu memberikan pelayanan terbaik kepada masyarakat, salah satunya dengan pemeriksaan efesiensi waktu yang tepat tanpa mengurangi akurasi hasil pemeriksaan. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui perbandingan efisiensi waktu pemeriksaan uji deviasi menggunakan metode Hirschberg test dan cover test. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian didapatkan pemeriksaan uji deviasi menggunakan metode Hirschberg test lebih efisien dibandingkan menggunakan metode cover test. Efisien pemeriksaan uji deviasi diketahui bahwa dari 68 responden, 57 responden (84%) lebih efisien menggunakan metode Hirschberg test pada pemeriksaan uji deviasi. Sementara itu, 11 responden (16%) lainnya lebih efisoen menggunakan metode cover test.

The eye is one of the senses that are important to humans, through the human eye absorbing visual information used to carry out various activities. However, many problems with vision occur, ranging from mild disorders to severe disorders that can lead to blindness. Examination of the deviation test is one of the stages in the eye examination. There are several types of methods in examining deviation tests, two of which are hirschberg test and cover test. As eye health personnel including an optician refractor, it is necessary to provide the best service to the community, one of them is by checking the efficiency of the right time without reducing the accuracy of the examination results. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of the efficiency of the examination of the deviation test using the Hirschberg test and cover test method. This research method uses descriptive quantitative methods. The results showed that the examination of deviation tests using the Hirschberg test method was more efficient than using the cover test method. Efficient examination of deviation tests is known that of 68 respondents, 57 respondents (84%) were more efficient using the Hirschberg method test on the examination of deviation tests. Meanwhile, 11 respondents (16%) were more efficient using the cover test method.
