Perbandingan Pemeriksaan Astigmat Menggunakan Teknik Cross Cylinder dan Clock Dial

Gangguan ini terjadi ketika mata tidak dapat melihat atau fokus dengan jelas pada suatu area terbuka sehinngga pandangan menjadi kabur dan untuk kasus yang parah, gangguan ini dapat menjadikan penglihatan melemah. Kelainan refraksi yang umum terjadi diantara miopia (rabun jauh), hipermetropia (rabun dekat), dan astigmatisme. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu Untuk mengetahui hasil pemeriksaam astigmat dengan menggunakan teknik cross cylinder dan clock dial. Dari hasil penelitian yang sesuai dengan kriteria yang didapatkan dilapangan hanya ada 2 kriteria yang masuk yaitu astigmat rendah dan astigmat tinggi. Dalam proses pemeriksaan menggunakan metode Cross Cylinder, dengan pasien yang mempunyai power astigmat rendah didapatkan hasil mencapai visuus terbaik akurat dan waktu yang cepat dengan begitu hasil dari penelitian sama dengan teori yang didapat bahwa teknik cross cylinder lebih akurat dan cepat untuk pemeriksaan power astigmat kecil sesuai dengan teori menurut Barbara pada tahun 2012. Dalam proses pemeriksaan menggunakan metode fogging clock dial, dengan pasien yang mempunyai power astigmat tinggi didapatkan hasil mencapai visus terbaik akurat dan waktu yang cepat dengan begitu hasil dari penelitian sama dengan materi yang di dapat bahwa teknik fogging clock diall lebih akurat dan cepat untuk pemeriksaan power astigmat tinggi sesuai dengan teori Opthalmology pada tahun 2010.
