Program Studi Diploma III Refraksi Optisi STIKes Dharma Husada Bandung 2016 ABSTRAK Yulia Pratiwi GAMBARAN KEJADIAN KELAINAN ASTIGMATISME PADA ANAK DI POLIKLINIK PEDRIATRIC OPTHALMOLOGI PUSAT MATA NASIONAL RUMAH SAKIT MATA CICENDO BANDUNG PERIODE JANUARI SAMPAI DENGAN APRIL 2016. xiv + 48 halaman + 5 tabel + 2 bagan + 5 gambar + 4 lampiran Data rekapitulasi penelitian Fitri Azizah Muslimah tahun 2012 jumlah kelainan astigmat pada pasien anak di RS Cicendo Bandung berjumlah 924 orang atau 71,9%. Dari total pasien kelainan refraksi sebanyak 1280 orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kejadian kelainan astigmat pada anak di poliklinik pedriatrik opthalmologi pusat mata nasional rumah sakit mata cicendo bandung periode januari sampai dengan april 2016. Metode penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data sekunder perhitungan dengan gambaran dimana pengambilan data subjek penelitiannya adalah seluruh pasien anak yang mengalami kelainan astigmat yang tercatat pada buku data register di unit Pediatrik Opthalmologi Pusat Mata Nasional Rumah Sakit Mata Cicendo Bandung Periode Januari sampai dengan April 2016. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa kejadian kelainan astigmat pada anak periode januari sampai dengan april 2016 adalah 836 pasien dari total kelainan refraksi 924 pasien anak. Pasien terbanyak pada anak dengan jenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 454 anak (54,35%) dengan usia 8 – 14 tahun (57,40%) dan kasus terbanyak adalah AMC (Astigmat Miopia Compositus) 925 (55,33 %) dari total keseluruhan diagnosa pasien 1672 per satu mata. Oleh karena itu perlu dilakukan edukasi terhadap masyarakat mengenai pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mata dan juga melakukan pemeriksaan sejak dini agar kelainan astigmat dapat ditangani dengan tepat, khususnya oleh profesi Refraksi Optisi.
