Efektifitas Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah di Rumah Sakit Al Islam Bandung tahun 2022

Rumah Sakit (RS) menjadi salah satu layanan kesehatan yang dalam fungsinya menghasilkan buangan berupa limbah padat maupun cair. Limbah cair RS berasal dari proses satuan kerja seluruh lingkungan RS yang memungkinkan mengandung bahan kimia berbahaya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas IPAL di RS Al Islam Bandung tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian cross sectional dan bersifat observasional. Sampel limbah cair didapatkan dari hasil pemeriksaan limbah cair semester 2 tahun 2021 dan semester 2 tahun 2022. IPAL RS Al Islam bandung efektif dalam menurunkan kadar parameter yang ditetapkan sesuai Permen LHK no 68 tahun 2016 yaitu BOD sebesar 79,11 %, COD sebesar 77,19 % dan TSS sebesar 68,33 %. Untuk mendapatkan hasil outlet yang baik dan meningkatkan efektivitas diharapkan petugas IPAL agar melakukan evaluasi dan pemantauan atau pengecekan berkala serta melakukan maintenance atau pemeliharaan secara rutin agar kinerja IPAL tetap maksimal.

Hospital is one of the health services whose function is to produce waste in the form of solid and liquid waste. Hospital liquid waste comes from work unit processes throughout the hospital environment which may contain hazardous chemicals. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of WWTP in Al Islam Hospital Bandung in 2022. This type of research included cross-sectional and observational research. Liquid waste samples were obtained from the results of the examination of liquid waste in semester 2 of 2021 and semester 2 of 2022. IPAL RS Al Islam Bandung is effective in reducing the levels of parameters set according to the Minister of Environment and Forestry No. 68 of 2016 namely BOD of 79.11%, COD of 77, 19% and TSS 68.33%. In order to get good outlet results and increase effectiveness, it is expected that WWTP officers will evaluate and monitor or check periodically and carry out routine maintenance or maintenance so that the WWTP performance remains maximal.
